Dahil deserve ng Infinity Spa Bay Area (ISBA) and standalone review, so here it goes. Last September 25, 2022 Sunday, napadpad tayo sa Manila kaya we visited our favourite safe spaces at isa na nga dun ang ISBA.

How To Reach Infinity Spa Bay Area

To be honest, hindi ko pa rin alam pano ang commute papunta sa ISBA pero based sa review ni Dakspazzler , you may opt to follow this method.

Via Public Transpo

Infinity Spa Bay Area, Paranaque City

1. Ride the Carousel Bus (with PITX sign)
2. Alight at Coastal Area (landmark is Uniwide Sales Coastal Mall)
3. Cross the footbridge
4. Fare is approx. P20

Via Taxi

If taking taxi, most of the taxi drivers do not know ISBA so you will need to guide them by using your own map on the phone. But the way is pretty straightforward anyway.

1. From MRT Taft, grab a taxi and inform the taxi to head to NAIA Road.
2. Inform the taxi driver to take the road where Baclaran is.
3. Your landmark should be the footbridge. Turn left when you see it. 
4. Travel time takes 5 to 10 minutes depending on traffic situation.
5. Rate ranges from P120 to P150

Via Angkas

1. From Heritage Hotel in Baclaran, find available Angkas riders.
2. Rate ranges from P50 to P100 
3. Direction should be the same as the "Via Taxi" method.

Via Grab

Of course the easiest, albeit more expensive option is by grab.

2. Price is approx. P150 to P200

Also, if you are SUKI of the spa, you might want to download the app of Infinity Spa that lets you earn points whenever you visit their place. Sayang din kasi when you ear enough points you get to have free massage service.

One of the weaknesses of the app is that it does not have username retrieval so pag nalimutan mo yung username, hindi ka na pwede gumawa ng bago account kasi naka connect siya sa phone number mo. Either you use na lang a new number. Super hassle, kaya don't make that blunder.

So Here's a Little Kwento

Dumaan kasi ako sa ISBA the day na nag landfall ang #BagyongKarding at Signal No. 5 sa ibang parts ng Luzon. Maulan sa Manila pero hindi ganun kalakas ang effect ng bagyo, kaya push tayo sa ISBA.

Pagdating ko sa MRT Taft at nag open ako ng Grab, aba nagulat ako kasi P300 to P400 ang charge ng Grab (dahil siguro may bagyo, ewan). Kaya I chose na mag taxi na lang kahit mahirap makakuha. Medyo hindi lang kabisado ni Kuya Driver yung way papunta sa ISBA so medyo guide ko si Kuya along the way.

TIP: Mas preferable mag taxi kesa grab since marami din naman dumadaan taxi from MRT Taft.

Pagdating ko sa counter ng ISBA, medyo lutang me kasi nga wala pa tulog (from previous night insomnia sa hotel). So nung nag sa-swipe na me ng IS App sa reader, sabi ko kay ate "Ate, bakit walang points na lumabas?" sabi naman ni Ate. "Kasi sir hindi ko pa napapasok yung details". Natatawa ako sa pagka lutang ko that day. 

Sunday crowd was good.

Hands down sa dami ng mga cuties sa wet area and nag-enjoy me during my stay. Most of the clients I would say are in their mid-20s to early 40s. Mixed crowd pa rin pero mas marami ang mga borta at chinito. Everyone was friendly and seemed to be enjoying their time too.

The Sauna was just the right temperature. Mainit pero bearable naman. Hindi madilim kasi may ambient lighting sa loob (yes, may liwanag ang bukas). Kita mo ang mga faces ng mga nasa loob (more on maaninag mo faces). Prim and proper ang mga tao. Walang nagkwe-kwentuhan ng malala na parang talk show.

There was this guy though na medyo off lang kasi he seems to be invested sa dry sauna so much na lagi niya nilalagyan ng tubig yung heater tapos naiinis siya pag may nagbubukas at labas masok sa sauna. I mean, you do you talaga pero wala lang - nakaka bother pag nasa loob ka. Ayun, na imbyerna siya so lumipat na siya sa Steam Area.

The Steam area naman was more madilim than the Sauna pero definitely mas malawak. Mas mainit din sa loob, feeling ko papunta na sa Siopao levels yung mga tao. I did appreciate pa rin yung Steam kasi it was enough to make you sweat. May tendency lang talaga na mag crowd yung mga guests pero that's fine kasi naka facemask pa rin naman ang lahat.

The Shower rooms are enough for 5 guests at a time. May shower curtains to close it and enough yung space sa loob para makapag shower ng maayos. The shampoo is provided na rin and meron mga sabitan ng towels sa wall.

Then sa Locker Area may isang bench where people can sit pag pagod na tumambay sa Sauna and Steam. May water din and glasses are replaced constantly.
