Confident, Grateful, Self Aware

On Being Grateful

Do we actually realize how blessed we are? Or do we feel privileged in thinking that we are entitled to what we have? On my next SPACE session, I will be dealing with the subject of gratefulness. As one of my friends once told me, becoming grateful and recognizing that there are so many things that we should be thankful for - is a step toward achieving harmony with the Universe.

Below are some points to ponder concerning gratitude:

  • Live a happy life
  • Gratitude, how it helped people to get where they are.. as a habit for beautiful life
  • Is not depended on exterior..
  • Inner pain, unable to find gratitude.. what is going inside
  • Affirmations
  • Do we shudder when we hear gratitude?
  • Inner critic voice
  • Picking on self
  • Feel abundant
  • Focus on the abundance / amount of focus
  • Ask where you focus more
  • Universal law: Whatever we focus on increases..
  • Match the inside and outside / live an authentic life, not always pretty but it's authentic
  • Deception of others is almost always rooted in the deception of self
  • Write a gratitude list
  • Where we put our attention helps our mood
  • [ Do not delight in the misery of others ]
  • Shit happens vs Happiness happens. Open eyes to find it.
  • Look for the blessings in disguise.
  • Do not allow self to feel victim. 
  • If something didn't happen, in a deeper level we didn't want that to happen (in an unconscious level) until we get to understand that.. we are so not in touch with our unconscious
  • Unconscious belief is holding us back
  • Nobody wakes up in the morning thinking, "hey how can I screw up my day today?"
  • Not religious, but spiritual
  • It takes a long time to see who we really are
  • When we are kids we are naturally happy, and we lose that when we become adults.
  • Profound sense of gratitude
  • Meister Eckhart "If the only prayer you ad in your life wa sthank you, taht would be enough"
  • Prayer is talking to God, .. but silence and be in the presenec of the Divie and connection
  • Look back and struggling.. be willing to be patient
  • Law of attraction
  • Conscious gratitude helps to keep you going
  • Finding something to be thankful on the business side
  • To be grateful, remember why you started on the path you started even if things are not great.. be grateful
  • Can be profoundly grateful because there is a force outside our lives that is giving us what we need.. in life you will get what you need / even if you don't have what you want now, you have what you need. Envision what you can be more.. envision what can be better, and at the same be grateful 
  • Don't be so much in a hurry... enjoy this moment
  • None of us know how long we have to live. What we do know is what we have today. How can we be grateful today.

Disclaimer: Not to say that unfortunate event is something to be happy about / but rather, an opportunity for something bigger to come
