Laval Restaurant in Ghala Golf Club
Ever since the Laval Restaurant opened up a few years ago, it has been in my list of places to visit while in Oman. In fact, when I left Oman in 2015; I thought that's it I won't be able to see the place. Fast forward to 2018, now thanks to a last minute decision of where to have some beer, we decided to pay this restaurant a visit.How to get there:
Outside Seating
Laval has some nice open air set up which seats their guests. They accept walk in guests but if you want to secure your seat, you may call them prior to arrival. Food is exquisite and well thought off. I can't really say it is gourmet, but it is not your usual resto menu. So it's a delight to try new things.
Bar and Shisha
The resto has a bar upstairs which houses the shisha and a more clubby ambience to it. Perfect for those who only come to get the booze and be merry.
Take the ghala exit, once in the express way (heading towards Qurum) you will spot a sign "Ghala Golf Club", take that exit. The sign is small so be very watchful.
