PS. I forgot to add that watching #TheRevenant makes you feel like watching Pocahontas version 2016... just waiting for Pocahontas and Capt Smith to sing ".. have you ever heard the wolf cry to the blue corn moon..."
Just finished watching "The Revenant" and was analyzing Leonardo's chance of getting the overdue Oscars... I have some hesitation, but overall I think LD has a fighting chance this year. What with eating raw meat and swimming in ice cold waters.... amazing performance.
In the midst of the gruesomeness, I couldn't help think what Director Innaritu had in mind making LD look like that... well, judging from previous films such as "Amores Perros", I really shouldn't be surprised at how Innaritu made the scenes as close to reality.
