Men Figure Skating & ISU Worlds 2016
Based on the results of the previous skating competitions, it is clear that Yuzuru Hanyu has the upper hand in the entire pack. Even when Javier Fernandez of Spain won the Worlds 2015, the gap was only 2.82 points which is really nothing if you compare it to the Grand Prix results where Yuzuru won Gold with a lead of 37.48 (setting a new record and even beating the former holder Evgeni Plushenko of Russia).
Grand Prix Final
Gold - Yuzuru Hanyu - Japan - 330.43
Silver - Javier Fernandez - Spain - 292.95
Bronze - Shoma Uno - Japan - 276.79
NHK Trophy 2015
Gold - Yuzuru Hanyu - Japan - 322.40
Silver - Jin Boyang - China - 266.43
Bronze - Takahito Mura - Japan - 242.21
World Figure Skating 2015
Gold - Javier Fernandez - Spain - 273.90
Silver - Yuzuru Hanyu - Japan - 271.08
Bronze - Denis Ten - Kazakhstan - 267.72
I can't wait for the World Figure Skating 2016, and mark my words - Yuzuru Hanyu will be setting again another record. After all, he didn't become the Olympic Champion for nothing.
