EVENT | UAAP Cheerdance Competition 2015 - TOP THREE Performances

UAAP Cheerdance Competition 2015 - TOP THREE Performances

So I'm paying my dues to the recently concluded UAAP Cheerdance Competition 2015. What with all the buzz and fuss over the results this year; and speaking of results- here's the tabulation sheet,

You really can't blame the people if they doubt the validity of the results; but I must say that NU played safe (as they always do) in terms of the stunts they pulled this year. The only difference is that you are not cringing anymore that somebody might break a bone or two. They looked credible already.

UP on the other hand has taken a risk in executing a performance that has more substance and emotional appeal. The execution was close to flawless for UP, and the team couldn't make it any better. It was their best.

UST has also shown much improvement and confidence in the routine. Although like NU, it has taken a safer stance. Their routine was awesome, albeit if I may add my ten cent's thought- they need to work on the pyramids.

Champion: National University - NU Pep Squad

First Runner Up : University of Santo Tomas - UST Salinggawi

Second Runner Up: University of the Philippines - UP Pep Squad

Of Falls and Breaking Bones

This year witnessed wobbly pyramids and nerve cringing gymnastics. But it was probably the Ateneo Blue Babble Battalion (BBB) which had the worst hit both literally and figuratively. BBB finished 8th this year with a James Bond performance that would make you want to stop the show, simply because you feel sorry for them.

I sincerely hope that BBB comes back with a BANG next year.
