Dampa (Riyadh, Saudi Arabia)
For Filipinos like me, finding good food here in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia is really a challenge. Middle Eastern people have a penchant for chicken and all I ever eat here mostly are chicken cuisine. There is occasional beef and seafood though, but it's very rare. Usually there's the Shawaya, Faham and KFC and all of them serve chicken. Nothing but chicken. You have the usual fastfood such as burgers and fries but I have an aversion towards fastfood.
Good thing there's this place called Dampa. Even back in the Philippines I often visited Dampa in Cubao, Quezon City. The food there is excellent so I had high hopes for this Dampa here in Riyadh. Luckily I was not disappointed.

Dampa in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia is situated in a small shop. On early hours like 4pm - 6pm, they have a buffet for 11 Riyals (that's around 120 PhP). At 7pm, one would have to order from a menu which costs 25 Riyals per order. That's good for two.
