Bekimon
Recently, I have started watching the videos of this guy making all the BEKIMON videos. Bekimon by the way is the updated term for gay lingo. As explained, it came from the word "Beki" meaning gay (in Tagalog, the term for gay is "bakla" thus beki).
These videos is revolutionizing the adaptation of the Filipino language in modern times. Earlier in my post, I discussed about how Venus Raj used "major major" in her answer in the recent 2010 Ms. Universe. This "major major" term is loosely translated into "bonggang bongga" meaning too much.
In this instance, we see how the Filipino's ingenuity towards manipulating words has evolved. This is not surprising to a country where centuries of foreign colonization mixed with regional languages continue to exist.
Furthermore, there is a website on the net which can actually translate sentences into Bekimon. I tried to use it and translated the Filipino National Anthem in Filipino:
vayang magiliw perlas ng julanganan alab ng puseklavu sa dibdib metch\'y buhay
(Bayang magiliw perlas ng silanganan alab ng puso sa dibdib mo'y buhay)
